Its verified composition is 70.1% cotton, 25.3% polyester and 4.6% elastane, with a soft, lightweight hand and stretch-fabric.
Use this style as a development reference or adapt it to a buyer specification. Confirm the rise, fit, pintuck placement, length, fabric behavior, pockets, finish, measurements, labels and packaging through sampling before bulk production.

What Must Be Approved Before Bulk Production?
Approve the waist position and rise POMs, waist-to-hip balance, zip-fly construction, thigh-to-ankle measurements, 7/8 hem position, pintuck alignment, pockets and selected fabric on the finished garment. State whether measurements apply before or after finishing. If recovery, shrinkage, opacity or dimensional limits matter, define the method and acceptance criteria in the buyer specification; this page does not claim unverified results.
Resolve the Rise Before Pattern Approval
The existing page uses conflicting high-, mid- and mid-low-rise wording. A buyer should not approve the fit from those labels. Define the waist position using front rise, back rise, waistband depth and the intended wearing point in the base size.
Review the waistband from front, side and back on the fit sample. Confirm waist-to-hip balance, crotch shape and seat position before grading. Once approved, use one consistent rise term across the tech pack, product page, labels and buyer communications.
Pintuck Alignment on a Close Stretch Leg
The vertical pintuck detail is a primary visual feature. On a skinny block, small differences in seam path, tension or panel balance can become obvious from hip to ankle. The line should remain positioned as approved without pulling the front pocket, twisting toward the side seam or creating uneven leg shapes.
Define the pintuck start and end points, distance from reference seams, finished width and stitch specification. Approve the detail on the actual project fabric. During production review, compare the left and right legs and check alignment on a worn garment as well as when laid flat.
Skinny Fit and 7/8 Ankle Proportion
The silhouette depends on the relationship among hip, thigh, knee, calf, inseam and leg opening. The 7/8 length determines where the hem and visible side opening sit on the lower leg. A correct base-size sample does not by itself confirm balanced grading across the size range.
Specify thigh, knee, calf, inseam, outseam and ankle opening POMs. Set the intended hem position for the target market and approve the side-opening depth if retained. Review mobility and dressing access, especially at the narrow lower leg.
Stretch, Recovery and Opacity Approval
The published composition and stretch-fabric statement are verified, but they do not establish numeric recovery, growth, shrinkage or opacity performance. These properties affect whether the knee, seat, waistband and lower leg retain the approved shape.
Approve the selected fabric in garment form. Where performance limits apply, document the conditioning method, extension or wear cycle, measurement method and acceptance criteria. Recheck the finished garment after the agreed assessment.
Zip Fly, Pockets and Front Balance
The fly length, zipper tape, button position, front pocket opening and pocket bag must work within a close stretch fit. Excess bulk or tension can distort the front rise, pull the pintuck line or make the pockets gape.
Define fly and pocket construction in the tech pack. Review zipper operation, waistband alignment, pocket access, bag coverage and symmetry on the fit sample. Check rear pocket placement against the approved yoke and seat balance.
Faded Finish and Finished Measurements
explore denim construction and finishing capabilities
The reference has a faded denim appearance, but no wash chemistry or numeric shade standard is published. Provide an approved garment, swatch or visual reference for the intended effect. Finishing can influence shade, hand feel, stretch behavior and garment dimensions.
For repeat production, compare fading direction, seams, pintuck lines, pockets, hems and finished measurements with the buyer-approved reference. Clearly identify whether the measurement requirements apply before or after finishing.

Buyer Requirement and Approval Controls
| Buyer Requirement | Manufacturing Risk | Control Method | Approval Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Defined rise and waist-to-hip balance | Conflicting rise interpretation changes fit | Confirm waist position and front/back rise POMs | Buyer-approved fit sample and measurement chart |
| Straight, symmetric pintuck lines | Seam path twists or pulls on the close leg | Set placement landmarks, width and stitch specification | Approved construction drawing and finished sample |
| Controlled 7/8 skinny proportion | Bagging, twisting or inconsistent ankle position | Define thigh, knee, calf, length and opening POMs | Approved measurement chart and size-set evidence |
| Clean zip-fly and pocket balance | Bulk or tension distorts the front panel | Review fly, pocket bag, opening and waistband together | Approved construction and fit sample |
| Required stretch behavior | Growth, opacity or recovery differs from expectation | Record project-specific method and limits | Approved requirement and applicable project evidence |
| Repeatable faded finish | Shade or measurements drift after finishing | Approve finish on selected fabric and verify final garment | Retained finish reference and measurement report |
