What Must Be Approved Before Bulk Production?

Approve the high-rise position, waist-to-hip balance, crotch and seat fit, thigh/knee/leg-opening measurements, full length, finished cuff depth, cuff security, pockets and selected fabric on the finished garment. Confirm the closure construction. Define any recovery, high-rise-fit, shrinkage, opacity or tolerance requirements with a method and acceptance criteria; this page does not claim unverified results.

High-Rise Waist and Hip Balance

A high-rise straight jean depends on the relationship among waist, high hip, full hip, front/back rise and waistband shape. Stretch fabric may improve access, but it does not automatically prevent waist gaping, rolling or seat imbalance.

Review the waistband from front, side and back on the fit sample. Confirm the intended wearing point, crotch shape and waist-to-hip transition. If a specific high-rise-fit result is required, define the internal construction and measurable acceptance criteria instead of relying on a marketing label.

Straight-Leg Proportion and Full Length

The straight silhouette should maintain the approved relationship among thigh, knee and leg opening. The floor-length direction also needs a defined inseam/outseam and target footwear context. A cuff changes the effective finished length and must be included in the measurement method.

Define thigh, knee, inseam, outseam, opening and cuff depth POMs. Across sizes, check that the leg remains visually straight and the cuff sits at the approved position without creating unintended stacking or flare.

Rolled Cuff Construction

The cuff is a primary design detail, not merely a styling instruction. Specify whether it is permanently secured or designed to unfold, the finished depth, number of turns, underside appearance, side-seam alignment and securing method. The visible reference includes a small contrast detail near the cuff that must be confirmed before reproduction.

Approve both cuffs together for equal depth and circumference. After finishing, check that the cuff lies flat and does not twist, open unevenly or shorten the legs differently.

Stretch, Recovery and Opacity Approval

The published composition and stretch-fabric wording are verified, but they do not establish numeric recovery, growth, shrinkage or opacity performance. These properties influence waist stability, knee shape, seat fit and cuff position after wear.

Approve the selected fabric in garment form. Where performance limits apply, document conditioning, extension/wear cycles, measurement method and acceptance criteria. Recheck the garment after the agreed assessment.

Pockets and Closure Confirmation

The images show curved front pocket openings, a coin-pocket direction, belt loops and a fly-shaped front seam. The exact opening/closure mechanism is not confirmed. Do not finalize the BOM or operation sequence from photographs alone.

Specify the closure, pocket opening, bag depth, reinforcement and rear-pocket placement in the tech pack. Review operation, access, bag coverage and symmetry on the approved sample.

Faded Finish and Finished Measurements

see denim wash and finishing support

The images show light and darker blue faded directions, but no wash chemistry or numeric shade standard is published. Provide an approved garment, swatch or visual reference for each required finish. Processing can affect shade, hand feel, stretch response, cuff appearance and dimensions.

State whether measurements apply before or after finishing. For repeat production, compare shade direction, seams, pockets, cuffs and final measurements with the buyer-approved finished reference.
